The Forest Stays, the Light Changes
エバーグリーン・ハーバー・ポイントを覆う常緑樹の森は、一年を通じてその深い緑を保ち続けます。けれど、その足元に広がる海岸線は、季節ごとにまったく異なる表情を見せてくれます。桜色に染まる春、力強い緑と煌めく海の夏、金色に輝くトレイルの秋、そして静寂に包まれる雪の冬。変わらない森を背景に、光と色彩だけが静かに移ろっていく――それがこの港のいちばんの贅沢です。
While the evergreen forest holds its deep, constant green throughout the year, the shoreline beneath it transforms completely with each season — cherry pink in spring, vivid green and glittering sea in summer, amber gold in autumn, and quiet snow in winter. The forest never changes; only the light does.
Spring — 春
三月の終わりから四月にかけて、港を縁取る桜並木が一斉にほころびます。淡い桃色の花びらが常緑の森の深緑と対比をなし、波打ち際にまで舞い落ちるその光景は、まるで海と山が季節の挨拶を交わしているかのようです。
From late March into April, the cherry trees lining the harbor break into bloom all at once. Soft pink blossoms drift against the deep evergreen backdrop, occasionally settling on the tideline itself — a brief, gentle meeting of mountain and sea.
Summer — 夏
夏が深まると、森はさらに濃密な緑をたたえ、海は目にまぶしいほどの青へと変わります。塩を含んだ暖かな潮風がトレイルを吹き抜け、木々の葉擦れと波音が重なり合う、生命力に満ちた季節です。
As summer deepens, the forest thickens into a richer, more saturated green while the sea turns a dazzling blue. Warm, salt-laced air moves along the trails, and the rustle of leaves mingles with the rhythm of the waves — a season of full, vivid life.
Autumn — 秋
十月から十一月にかけて、コースタルトレイル沿いの落葉樹が黄金と琥珀色に色づきます。常緑樹の緑との対比がいっそう際立ち、朝には涼やかな霧が谷間に漂い、光がやわらかく差し込みます。
Through October and November, the deciduous trees along the coastal trail turn gold and amber, their warmth set sharply against the evergreen canopy. Cooler mornings bring a soft, low mist through the valleys, filtering the light into something quieter and more golden.
Winter — 冬
冬になると、常緑の松林はうっすらと雪化粧をまとい、港全体が深い静けさに包まれます。空気は澄み渡り、遠くの波音だけが響く――四季の中でもっとも内省的で、静謐な時間が流れる季節です。
In winter, the evergreen pines are dusted lightly with snow, and the harbor settles into a profound stillness. The air turns crisp and clear, leaving only the distant sound of waves — the most contemplative and quiet season of the year.
