Plan Your Time At The Point

Before You Arrive

Evergreen Harbor Point is a free, open coastal nature area cared for by the local community and conservation staff. There is no admission fee and no fixed schedule beyond the rhythm of daylight itself — only a few simple things to know before you set out.

Opening Hours

The point is open from sunrise to sunset, every day of the year. There is no entrance fee — the trails, boardwalks and viewpoints remain a public trust, free for all to enter. Please plan your arrival with enough daylight to return safely, as paths are unlit after dusk.

What To Bring

Sturdy walking shoes, a bottle of water, and a camera for the coastal light are the essentials. Bring light, layered clothing — sea winds shift quickly here, and mornings can be cooler than the afternoon suggests.

Best Times To Visit

Spring and autumn bring the mildest air and clearest views across the harbor. For those who love mist and stillness, arrive early in the morning — the first hour after sunrise is when the coastline is at its quietest and most atmospheric.

Visitor Etiquette

マナー

Please keep your voice low, stay on marked trails, and carry out anything you carry in. Wildlife here is wild — observe from a respectful distance and let the landscape remain undisturbed for the next visitor.

Wooden boardwalk crossing the coastal wetland

Accessible By Design

Long stretches of the wetland crossing are laid with a flat wooden boardwalk, built to let strollers and wheelchairs move through the marsh grasses at the same unhurried pace as everyone else. Where the natural terrain becomes uneven or steep, signage marks the change clearly so every visitor can choose their own route with confidence.
